Alfa Laval Nordic, vårt nordiska försäljningsbolag, söker en ny serviceingenjör (du behöver inte vara utbildad ingenjör) med intresse för att hjälpa kunder genom proffsigt bemötande och hög servicenivå.
I dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter ingår att utföra service, både major och intermediate, på kundens maskiner samt att åtgärda akuta problem. Felsökning och att ständigt jobba med maskinoptimering och förbättring av processerna ingår också. Allt arbete utförs huvudsakligen hos våra kunder i Sverige.
Utöver detta innefattar tjänsten att se till att god ordning råder inom arbetsområdet för att förebygga olycksfall/ohälsa samt att skapa trivsel och gott arbetsklimat.
Till din hjälp har du ett väl uppbyggt nätverk av kollegor som ger dig den support och stöttning som du behöver. Som ny hos oss välkomnas du med ett introduktionsprogram av utbildningar, en handledare som ger dig vägledning och trevliga kollegor. Teamet i är idag en grupp på 15 personer i Sverige/ Finland och 42 personer totalt i Nordic där samarbete inom teamet sker på daglig basis.
Förväntade övernattningar är cirka 100–125 per år och du utgår från ditt hem i mittsverige, men är formellt anställd på Alfa Laval Nordic i Tumba. Ditt ansvarsområde är hela Sverige, men med fokus på den centrala delen av landet.
Arbetsuppgifter:
Utföra planerade serviceåtgärder på maskinerna.
Följa upp allt arbete hos kunderna och bidra till hög servicenivå.
Felsöka och snabbt lösa tekniska problem på plats hos kunderna genom att diagnostisera, ge lösningsförslag och föreslå förbättringsåtgärder.
Utforma servicerapporter på plats i samarbete med kunderna.
Upprätthålla korrekt och uppdaterad information i IT-systemet.
Identifiera och rapportera osäkra metoder och incidenter, vilket bidrar till ständiga förbättringar.
Identifiera försäljningsmöjligheter genom att samarbeta med säljteamet.
Ge proaktiv servicerådgivning till kunder från vår 360-tjänstportfölj.



Vem är du?
För att avståndet mellan dig och de flesta av våra kunder inte ska bli för långt ser vi helst att du är bosatt i Värmland, Örebro, Västmanland, Södermanland, Uppsala eller Stockholms län. Norra delarna av Östergötland, Västra Götaland samt södra delarna av Dalarnas och Gävleborg kan också vara aktuella. Som person är du driven, social och har lätt att prata med nya personer och du är van vid att ta ansvar för ditt arbete. Du är noggrann och nöjer dig inte med något annat än ett perfekt utfört jobb och du ser tekniska problem som en rolig och spännande utmaning. Du har erfarenhet från att arbeta ute på fältet med kunder eller så är du nyfiken på att prova på fältarbete.
Du har en teknisk bakgrund och goda mekaniska färdigheter, gärna från maritim eller tunga fordon/utrustning.
Du trivs med ett rörligt och skiftande arbetstempo med mycket frihet under ansvar.
Innehav av giltigt körkort är en förutsättning för denna roll då du åker ut till kundernas anläggningar för att utföra arbetet.
Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska är ett krav för att kunna kommunicera med våra kunder och du kan också göra dig förstådd på engelska.
Tidigare erfarenhet av separatorer och dekanter är meriterande men Alfa Laval kommer att utbilda dig i alla produkter.

What will you do?
We are looking for an experienced engineer that can combine mechanical design and structural engineering skills in solving the complex challenges of getting wing sails onboard large ocean-going ships. The focus will be on taking responsibility for development of our laminated composite components; however, the detailed job description and responsibilities can be adapted depending on the experience of the applicant. The key tasks will however be:
Design development and analysis of our composite structures for prototypes and products and serve as the subject matter expert in composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, mechanical design, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of composite components into our wing sail systems.
Utilize extensive experience in composite design and analysis (e.g. ANSYS ACP) to optimize structures for performance, weight, and efficiency.
Prepare design documentation in-line with relevant design standards to be certified by classification societies (e.g. DNV).
Follow the latest developments in composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and design software to drive continuous improvement and innovation for our company.



Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Creative and problem-solving mindset is paramount!
Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
At least 5 years working experience from engineering of reinforced laminated composites and/or sandwich structures. Experience in the marine industry is meriting.
Field experience, you have already developed and been a part of taking prototypes or products from the drawing board to commissioning.
Familiar with relevant design standards (e.g. DNV-ST-0376 for rotor blades for wind turbine).

Om jobbet
Vi erbjuder sommarvikariat inom både produktion och kontor. Majoriteten av vikariaten riktar sig mot vår produktion och lagerverksamhet. Exempel på tjänster är montör, operatör/maskinoperatör, lagermedarbetare. Det kan förekomma skiftarbete inom produktion och lager. En del av rollerna omfattas av krav på medicinsk kontroll enligt Arbetsmiljöverkets föreskrifter för Medicinska kontroller i arbetslivet (AFS 2019:3). Den medicinska kontrollen utförs på företagshälsovården och bekostas av Alfa Laval.



Utöver våra tjänster inom produktion och lager erbjuder vi en del tjänster inom kontor, exempelvis orderberedare, inköpare samt kontorsadministration.

Service in Business Unit High Speed Separators (HSS), Food & Water division has high priority with a clear growth strategy and focus on improving the customer experience. We now need to strengthen our central team with two dedicated resources.

Qualifications;
Several years of experience with Alfa Laval high speed separators in industrial applications is a must.

AlfaWall Oceanbird in Tumba is looking for a
Control System Developer
AlfaWall Oceanbird AB is a 50/50 joint venture, owned by Alfa Laval and Wallenius but operated as an independent company. We are developing wind power solutions that will revolutionize shipping – an industry that is responsible for 3% of global greenhouse gas emissions. If the shipping industry was a country, it would be the sixth biggest polluter, that we are going to change!
The automation team at Oceanbird is responsible of the development of all parts of the wing’s automation system. Everything from user HMI located at the ships bridge to the low-level control of hydraulic valves. Our control system is based on PLCs where the low-level code is written in Structured Text while higher level functionality is developed in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow. The key to success when it comes to software development, is our model-based development approach, where we develop the control algorithms towards our wing simulation model, and then generate code from that to run on the real system.
We are in an early stage and are now looking for a person that have experience from control system development, either with embedded- or PLC-systems. Important is an interest of understanding the physics/ mechanical and hydraulic properties of our wing-system and from there develop our dynamic models and control code of the wing and its sub-systems. Since everything is new in the design, the job also includes figuring out the requirements and SW architecture of the wing functions.
There are some possibilities to shape the contents of this position depending on the applicants interests and previous experiences. However, basic knowledge or an interest to build knowledge in at least some of the following areas are required:
Hydraulics: modelling and control of hydraulic systems. Very important for all motion control functions. All our main actuators are hydraulic.
Sailing Aerodynamics, important for our wing trimming functions, that optimize the angle of attack to get as must trust out of the wing as possible.
Safety critical control system design and risk analysis/FMEA. The wing control system is safety critical; it needs to get the wing into its safe state when the wind speeds get to high.
HMI development and user interaction.
Model Based Software Development in Matlab/Simulink/Embedded coder.

As a Quality Documentation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documentation related to quality management systems, and to support business with high quality and easily available technical information.

The Compliance function supports the whole business around the separator, from R&D to Sales. The Product Compliance Specialist role includes:
* Identify and present regulatory obligations. Evaluate impact and recommended actions for information and decision-making purposes.
* Support with technical compliance expertise and guidance.
* Perform analysis and review of product development project deliverables within the compliance area.
* Lead / participate in compliance projects / activities.
* Deliver product compliance training
* Participate in external industry groups and technical committees representing Alfa Laval BU HSS.

Who are you?

We are looking for a Project Manager with a high technical interest and experience from R&D projects to the department New Product Development Marine within BU High Speed Separators R&D.

You are passionate about meeting the customer expectations with respect to quality and product performance, together with the organization ambition for efficient product development.

To be successful in this position you need to be highly motivated and proactive as a person, with good leadership skills.

What you know
* You hold a degree in Engineering at university level.
* 2-3 years of experience from project management in technical development projects
* You are good at, and like, managing inter-personal relationships in combination with good technical skills.
* Your work approach is constructive, structured, and systematic
* You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
* You have a positive attitude and ability to inspire others
