How you will make an impact:
We are looking for a driven and collaborative leader to join us as a Shipping & Logistics Development Manager. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects to deliver complex business and technical initiatives—from supplier selection through installation, commissioning, and handover. You’ll drive continuous improvement using CBS principles, boost productivity, and support managers in building skilled, motivated teams. In this role you will:
Handle transportation booking and follow-up, customs handling, reporting to authorities, and creation of relevant shipping documents, including export and import licenses.
Plan and execute logistics operations with a focus on security and environmental considerations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Analyze, plan, and solve logistics-related problems from a strategic perspective, contributing to effective decision-making for the company in close relationship with other internal partners.
Actively work with internal and external partners to drive development within the logistics area, fostering strong relationships and ensuring efficient operations.
Draw up goals and evaluate performance to ensure alignment with responsibilities and objectives, making necessary adjustments to meet strategic targets.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in logistics, shipping, or customs—or equivalent experience. Knowledge of areas such as restricted party screening and security is a plus.
Experience from administration of all types of transportation and import/export services as well as customs handling with foreign countries, trade compliance, and other import/export laws and regulations.
Extensive experience from setting up well-functioning transportation solutions aimed at delivery on time and quality.
Leadership qualities.
Documented knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Language: High proficiency in English and Swedish
Communication: Able to express ideas clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally.
IT: Very strong working knowledge and/or experience in Microsoft Office

Preferred:
Experience working with continuous improvement.


Interest in all parts of logistics including both transportation and internal factory logistics.

How you will make an impact:
Apply your skills and experience to the unique industry of currency, security, and brand authentication. You will utilize the concepts of lean manufacturing to help improve safety, quality, and delivery for our internal and external customers. Global economies will rely on you and the engineering team to use root cause analysis and find creative solutions to keep our operations running smoothly and delivering to the needs of the customers. While at the same time, you will pitch projects and work on initiatives that drive future growth and efficiency in our processes for the years to come.
Train operators to ensure competence in quality control and the use of technical equipment, fostering a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
Follow up on processes, analyze data, and investigate deviations in productivity and quality to optimize outcomes and ensure consistent quality standards.
Work with the maintenance (UH) team to develop lists and routines for maintenance and follow-up activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Participate in production preparation work, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to meet production goals and maintain high standards.
Develop and ensure quality procedures for the department’s technical equipment, ensuring all processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead Improvement Projects: Lead projects and serve as a resource in improvement initiatives, supporting production within the Continuous Improvement System (CBS) framework.

Required:
Bachelor of science in engineering or commensurate experience.
3 years’ experience working in the paper/process industry.

As an Environmental Specialist at Crane Currency you will lead our environmental initiatives. You'll oversee waste management and water conservation, reduce our carbon footprint through energy audits and renewable energy promotion, and communicate with stakeholders about environmental concerns. In your role you will:
Lead sustainability projects focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource optimization. Propose beneficial initiatives while recognizing production needs.

Oversee waste management and water conservation by identifying reduction and recycling opportunities. Engage staff in reviews and training for environmental responsibility.

Communicate with stakeholders (municipality, wastewater treatment plant, surrounding neighbors) about deviations and inquiries (e.g., wastewater emissions, noise complaints).

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office package tools, good knowledge in Excel
Fluency in Swedish and English.

Preferred:
Experience with sustainability certifications and audits.
Knowledge or experience working with systems such as Winmops and ProTak or equivalent.

Incorporate Security Features: Integrate advanced anti-counterfeiting measures into Banknote Designs to prevent fraud.
Conduct Research: Investigate cultural and historical elements to incorporate into banknote designs, ensuring they are meaningful and relevant.
Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends in design and security to continuously improve banknote designs.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with government officials, security experts, and printing companies to ensure designs meet all requirements.
Increase the quantity and efficiency of the design team output and ensure the quality, creativity and innovation of the team’s output are at the highest level.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
3-5-year University level education and/or working experience within Arts & Crafts, Graphic design, Fine arts, Product Design or similar.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing banknotes, security features and printing methods.
Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in security software (Corvina, The One) and Adobe such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Experience in managing multiple work streams and meeting deadlines for customers and production through teamwork.
Fluent in English, all other languages are a benefit.
