The Bactiguard technology is effective, safe and well-proven. It is based on a thin noble metal alloy coating that prevents bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation on medical devices. Bactiguard's product portfolio also includes a non-alcoholic product line for wound care and disinfection. It effectively kills viruses, bacteria and fungi while being biocompatible, pH neutral and tissue friendly. The active ingredient hypochlorous acid is the same substance as the body's immune cells use in their defence against infectious organisms.
Bactiguard is in a strong expansion phase in the markets in Europe, China, India and the Middle East. Bactiguard has about 200 employees around the world. Its headquarters and one of three production facilities is located in Tullinge, Stockholm, the other two in Malaysia. Bactiguard is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in the mid-cap segment.
We are looking for
An engineer with a strong interest for production, production equipment as well as process improvement. You will be responsible for the production support, both daily troubleshooting and long term improvements.
To be successful in this position we believe that you have a master of science in mechanical or biomedical engineering, or equivalent education. A few years of experience from the medical device or pharma industry is considered a merit, but not mandatory. You have good communication skills in Swedish and English.
Personal skills will be important to enjoy your daily work and to succeed in this position. As a person, we believe that you are self-driven and naturally takes ownership. Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Daily support to production, including: Troubleshooting and resolving errors. Assist production operators for smooth production process. Planning and follow up of daily production
Planning and creating batch records.
Improvement and development of production related fixtures.
Maintenance of production equipment and facilities. As well as supplier and service communication.
Qualification of production equipment.
Reporting and investigating deviations related to production.
Keeping production work instructions up to date.
You will report to the Production Manager.
